Guided tour of Fes

In Marruecos Aventuras, we believe that it is important to get to know the historical cities with a quality guide, and then continue exploring on our own, learning about the history and curiosities of the land we walk on.

After breakfast, we will pick you up at your hotel or riad in Fez to head towards the city center. There we will enjoy a guided walking tour of the old town of Fez, with an official guide in your language. We will visit the Old Medina, where we will see its most emblematic areas.

Among the main attractions of the Fez medina are the Bab Bou Jeloud Gate and the Mausoleum of Mulay Idrís. In addition, we will pass by the famous Al Karaouine Mosque and the Chouwara Tannery, where we will see how the pigments used to color the fabrics are prepared.

Next, we will take a panoramic tour of Fez. On this route, which will be done by car or by minibus depending on the size of the group, we will first approach the majestic and imposing Royal Palace of Fez. We will tell you the legends related to this luxurious building!

The next stop on the panoramic tour will take place at the Mellah, the Jewish quarter of Fez. The tour will continue in the Borj Nord area, where we will enjoy the best panoramic views of Fez from the terrace of the Weapons Museum.

After a break so that you can have lunch on your own in the center of Fez, we will end the tour at Rcif Square or Oued Zhoun Square, depending on your preference. From these esplanades you can continue exploring the city at your leisure.
